Detail & Deep Cleaning

The baseboards, vents, blinds and light fixtures a nightly clean never reaches, done properly before an inspection, an audit or an event.

Detail cleaning a kitchen surface with a sponge and cleaning powder

Every building accumulates a layer of work that routine cleaning does not touch. Dust settles on the tops of door frames and partition walls. Vent covers grey over. Blinds collect a film. Baseboards, chair legs and the gap behind the copier build up soil that a nightly crew on a normal scope will never get to, because doing so would take them all night.

Detail cleaning is where that backlog gets cleared. Buildings across Tampa Bay book it before a health or fire inspection, ahead of an audit or client visit, when a tenant is moving in or out, or once or twice a year simply to reset the baseline.

It is deliberately slower and more thorough than routine work. The crew works methodically from ceiling to floor and covers the things that are normally out of scope.

What a detail clean covers

  • High dusting: ceiling corners, vents, sprinkler heads, light fixtures, tops of partitions and door frames
  • Blinds and window treatments, cleaned rather than dusted
  • Baseboards, skirting, door frames and the edges of every room
  • Behind and beneath furniture, appliances and equipment
  • Grout scrubbing in restrooms and kitchens
  • Cabinet and drawer interiors in break rooms and kitchens
  • Chair bases, table legs, desk sides and the underside of surfaces
  • Full appliance cleaning, including microwave and refrigerator interiors
  • Switch plates, vent grilles, radiator covers and other detail hardware

When to book one

Ahead of a health, fire or licensing inspection. Before an important client, investor or franchise visit. At tenant turnover, when the space needs to show well. After construction or maintenance work has raised dust through the building. Or on a fixed schedule, twice a year, to stop the backlog ever building up.

If your building is on a nightly janitorial contract with us, a scheduled detail clean twice a year keeps the standard visibly higher for very little additional cost.

Deep cleaning questions

How is this different from regular cleaning?

Routine cleaning maintains the surfaces people touch daily. Detail cleaning goes after everything else: high dusting, blinds, baseboards, grout, behind and beneath things. It takes considerably longer per square foot and is priced accordingly.

How long does it take?

Substantially longer than a nightly clean. A mid-sized office might take a crew a full day or a full night. We will give you a time estimate with the quote so you can plan around it.

Can you do it outside business hours?

Yes. Most detail cleans run overnight or over a weekend precisely because they are disruptive.

How often should a commercial building have one?

Twice a year suits most offices. Restaurants, medical practices and any facility facing regular inspection usually want it quarterly.
